You’ll enjoy a custom mask, followed by shampoo and conditioner tailored to your needs. We’ll finish your pampering session with a light blow-dry to make your hair look beautiful. Enjoy our mini facial featuring premium Korean skincare, designed to hydrate, brighten, and leave your skin soft and revitalized. Paired with our Head Spa Experience, this 80-minute session includes a soothing scalp massage, gentle exfoliation, custom scalp mask, and shampoo using clean, organic products, finished with a light blow-dry so you leave refreshed and glowing.
No hair extensions of ANY kind, braids, locs and tinsel.

A head spa is a special treatment for your scalp and hair. It includes a relaxing massage, deep cleaning, and conditioning. At Beauty by K, we pamper clients in a spa environment with comfortable massage beds and heated eye masks. Each scalp treatment begins with a consultation, where we examine your scalp at 500X magnification, in order to tailor the service and products to your needs.

For traditional head spa services involving hair and scalp care, choose a spa staffed by licensed cosmetologists in Michigan, as required by state law. Non-licensed professionals, such as estheticians or massage therapists, are not permitted to perform these services.
Note: Dry head spa services, which focus on relaxation and do not involve hair washing or scalp care, do not fall under this licensing requirement.

For the safety and comfort of our guests, we recommend waiting at least six months after cancer treatment before enjoying a head spa. Once cleared by your physician, we can provide a gentle, bespoke experience tailored to your needs, ensuring ultimate relaxation and care.

The frequency depends on your individual needs and goals. Generally, 6-8 weeks is recommended for maintenance. However, if you have specific scalp issues or are looking for intense relaxation, more frequent visits might be beneficial.

Head spas are suitable for everyone, regardless of gender, hair type, or whether you have hair at all! We all benefit from improved scalp health, relaxation, and overall well-being. However, if you have specific health concerns or conditions, please reach out to ensure the session is appropriate for you.

Each service is thoughtfully customized to the individual, men, women, and children. There is no upcharge for hair length, type, or texture, whether guests have little to no hair or hair down to their feet. We do not offer separate services for children, as all guests receive the same elevated, personalized experience.

Consultation: Your provider will assess your scalp and hair to determine the ideal products for your personalized experience.
Cleansing: Hair and scalp are shampooed and conditioned for a gentle, refreshing cleanse.
Massage: Enjoy a luxurious head, neck, and shoulder massage designed for ultimate relaxation and comfort.
Application: Revitalizing masks, serums, or oils may be applied to enhance your scalp and hair.
Aftercare: Your hair will receive a light blow-dry. Add a full blow-dry and style for a polished, complete finish.

Groups consist of two or more guests.

But don’t worry! If you have hair extensions, braids, or tinsel, you can opt for our Elevated Back Facial instead, we leave no one out here at Beauty by K!

To change or cancel your appointment, please contact us directly.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment and you paid a deposit, you can use that deposit for another day.
Deposits can't be refunded.
If you cancel within 23 hours, you'll be charged 100% of the service fee.
If you cancel on the same day or no show you will be charged 100% of your service.
